About
I am deeply honored to have had the privilege of working closely with emergency responders, including military personnel, veterans, and their spouses and significant others, as well as athletes, since 2015 when I first began my master's program. Over the years, my passion for supporting first responders and their loved ones has only grown stronger, as I have seen firsthand the challenges they face, both on the job and in their personal lives.

As the spouse of a firefighter and having been raised in a military family, I have a unique understanding of the emotional, physical, and psychological toll that post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI), physical injuries, cumulative trauma, and Emergency Responder Exhaustion Syndrome can have on both first responders and their families. These challenges often extend beyond the individual, affecting relationships, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. This personal insight fuels my dedication to helping emergency responders, their spouses, and their significant others heal and thrive.
I am actively involved with the First Responder Support Network (FRSN), where I volunteer as a clinician, offering Brainspotting and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) services at their West Coast Post Trauma Retreat (WCPR) and Significant Others and Spouses (SOS) Retreats. Through these retreats, I have had the opportunity to work directly with individuals who have experienced trauma, supporting them as they navigate their healing journeys and build emotional resilience.
My work is rooted in a deep understanding of the unique stressors and struggles that first responders and their families face. I am committed to providing a compassionate, supportive space where individuals can process their experiences, heal from trauma, and work towards personal growth and well-being. Whether you are a first responder, a veteran, or someone who loves and supports them, I am here to guide you through the challenges of life and help you reach your full potential.
More About My Specializations and Background
I am deeply committed to supporting those who serve our communities, including military personnel, first responders, and their spouses and significant others. I understand the unique challenges and pressures these individuals face, both on the job and in their personal lives, and I provide tailored support to help them overcome trauma, manage stress, and find emotional resilience.
In addition to my work with emergency responders, I have a strong passion for helping athletes and equestrians overcome mental blocks and performance barriers. Whether you’re struggling with performance anxiety, injuries, or training setbacks, I use Brainspotting, a Neurobehavioral Treatment for sports trauma, to support athletes in reaching their full potential. I have personal experience overcoming anxiety and challenges in my own performance journey, and this fuels my commitment to helping others break through obstacles to achieve their goals—whether you're in boxing, soccer, football, dressage, or any other sport. While I don't claim to be an expert in any specific sport, my expertise lies in supporting individuals through the mental blocks that may arise, regardless of the activity.
Through Brainspotting, we’ll work together to identify what’s holding you back and what you want to achieve. This powerful tool helps individuals access deeper parts of their brain to address performance challenges and shift mental patterns that no longer serve them.
In addition to sports and performance work, I have specialized experience in vocational rehabilitation counseling and career counseling, helping individuals navigate career transitions, especially when physical or psychological challenges—such as work-related injuries, PTSI (Post-Traumatic Stress Injury), Emergency Responder Exhaustion Syndrome, or other obstacles—prevent them from continuing in their current roles. I guide individuals through this difficult process, supporting them in finding new pathways and overcoming barriers to return to work with a renewed sense of purpose.
I hold a Master's in Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and am certified in Brainspotting and trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I draw on a variety of therapeutic modalities to help you navigate life’s challenges and reach your individual goals, whether you’re recovering from trauma, transitioning careers, or simply striving to perform at your best.
Above all, my goal is to support you in transcending the physical, emotional, and psychological hurdles that stand in the way of a fulfilling life and meaningful work. Together, we can create a plan to help you heal, grow, and thrive.
